News Announcements!!! June 23, 2008 David (Xuhui) Wo appointed Sr. Associate - Language Sciences and Services - China. As a result of ever increasing business in Asia David Xuhui Wo has been made to head up the newly formed Language Sciences and Services - China division. In this role, David will be working extensively with The International Institute for Outsource Management and Certellus Corporation accounts to provide language related services, China/Western cultural transitioning and focused outsourcer education. Chairman Emeritus Durant expessed his pleasure with this most recent appointment. David has extensive sales experience working for IBM China. He holds a B.S. from Fudan University (China) and MBA/MSBM from the University of Central Florida. May 29, 2008 Winter Springs, FL - IIOM announces collaborative channel relationship with Transaction Focus ; Chairman Durant announced today that the IIOM has entered into an operating relationship with the UK based marketing/sales outsource organization to promote the services of pre-qualified outsource servicers. Under this agreement, the IIOM will develop and pre-qualify all outsource service providers and Transaction Focus, as an experienced provider, will develop European market and sales channels to suit their specific client needs. Founder, Charles Smee is a 20 year global sales and marketing veteran and operates from the Transaction Focus headquarters office in Somerset ( www.Transactionfocus.com). May 18, 2008 IIOM/Outsource Institute Collaborate In order to bring value to both outsource providers and buyers the IIOM and OI have teamed up to provide a series of informational videos and white papers on topics of mutual interest. The IIOM continues to serve as moderator for the service provider discussion board on OI's website. April 25，2008 IIOM Chairman Durant to Offer Special Program on Developing Business in Foreign Markets. March 28, 2008 Discussion Underway to form IIOM-Europe Charter Organization located in the Balkins. March 21, 2008 IIOM-China invited to strategic outsourcing industry meeting in Wuxi, PRC. Wuxi Municipal People's Government has invited IIOM-China to attend a planning meeting to discuss Wuxi software and service outsourcing industry. The meeting is to discuss present capabilities and how IIOM can help to support the evaluation and development of area outsourcing companies. March 19, 2008 IIOM-China and Chinasoftware International discuss training. Chinasoftware International, a global outsourcing company, and IIOM-China entered discussions for the development of a promotion plan for American & European outsourcing project manager training. March 1, 2008 IIOM-China Guides Development of Yantai Haiyi Video & Promotes to through The Outsourcing Institute (NYC) Chris Jiang, CEO - IIOM China provided production design and direction to develop a video of introduction for the leading Yantai Haiyi Software Company Ltd., a division of Dong Feng Electronics. The video presents the region and the company with the objective of generating interest. Yantai Haiyi Software Company Ltd., has recently been GSC Certified as S/Level 3 and had three of their key managers recognized as Certified Outsource/Offshore Project Mangers (COOPM). February 28, 2008 IIOM Bring 'Managing Outsourced/Offshore Project Management" Program to CEL/Hong Kong Continued brisk demand for the outsourced project management class continues. The landmark program that provides participants with the designation of Certified Outsource/Offshore Project Manager (COOPM) continues to draw great interest globally. The next foreign offering is in Kiev and is hosted by TestAssure (www.testassure.com). February 02, 2008 Another SUCCESSFUL Trip to IIOM-China (Beijing & Yantai)!!!! After 11 days of very active activity IIOM continues to build interest and excitement amongst the outsourcing community in China. China Soft in conjunction with IIOM-China hosted a three day "Outsourcing Quality Management" program involving over 25 enthusiastic participants. Following this event a special 2 hours briefing was conducted to present an overview of Outsource Communications. Following this event award Certificates were presented to those who successfully passed the COOPM (Certified Outsource Offshore Project Manager) certification. Yantai was next on our stop to complete our Global Star Certification of Yantai Haiyi Software Company Ltd. During our stay we provided technical assistance in preparing a 5 minute introductory video which will be shared with the Outsourcing Institute. December 22, 2007 Board Chairman Durant (IIOM-International) Returns from Successful Trip to China During the prior week Chairman Durant conducted a series of presentations, classes, certification examination and laid the groundwork for a Global Star Certification (GSC) at HaiYi Software in Yantai. December 20, 2007 IIOM-Asia Pacific Signs Formal Memorandum of Understanding with Yantai Government. December 11, 2007 Board Chairman Durant (IIOM-International) announcement Agreement with European Software Institute (ESI - www.ESI.es) After several years of negotiation it is announced that an agreement has been reached with the European Software Institute to promote ESIs ITMark assessment model and Software Reuse Factory in North America and in foreign markets via The International Institute for Outsource Management. According to Chairman Durant, "this is an ideal product offering for the outsourcing sector and equally valuable for domestic companies who are looking to new ways to deliver software and in a responsible fashion. Formal contractual details are scheduled to be completed by year-end, with formal offering starting in 2008. November 23, 2007 (Friday-HK/China) Board Chairman Jerry Durant (IIOM-International) is pleased to announce the formation of the Outsource Management Joint Research Center a venture involving the Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Science, Hong Kong PolyU and the IIOM - Asia/Pacific organizations.
The Chinese Academy of Science represents the highest level of national honor for Chinese scientists, and the graduate university is the first in China to award PhD degree. Hong Kong PolyU is a the leading technology university in Hong Kong with status established in 1994 and having trained over 250,000 men & women. The International Institute for Outsource Management - Asia/Pacific was chartered in 2007 and was formed under the auspices of the International Institute for Outsource Management. The IIOM is dedicated to support for the global outsourcing community.
November 09, 2007 Board Chairman Jerry Durant announced today the appointment of Mr. Frank Lyons, President of Entellus Corporation, to the Board of Governors for the IIOM. Frank brings to the Board an extensive IT background specializing in ERP and Audit/Control/Security. The certified course, lead by a certified instructor, grants certification based on attendance, participation, and demonstrated capability to conduct themselves in a professional manner in this highly specialized field. Certifications will be fee free for one year. A nominal annual fee is assessed to cover certification administration costs. August 18, 2007 The International Institute for Outsource Management announces first charter issued for the Asia Pacific Region.
