Global Star Certified™ (GSC) Qualification
The Global Star Qualification is offered to member companies as a way to separate themselves from other organizations. Where as other assessment models are designed to help an organization improve their delivery processess, GSC measures business viability and delivery capability. A 5 point scale is used to guage a company's capability to respond and deliver services. GSC is viewed to be of benefit to both the outsource service provider as well as to clients buying service. Administered by and supervised by the Governing Board of the IIOM, one can be assured of sound and impartial assessment.
The IIOM is pleased to be working with Training Industry Inc. to introduce a specialized version of the GSC for assessing training service providers. This is expected to be introduced in early 2009.
Certified Outsource/Offshore Project Manager (COOPM™)
The COOPM™ recognizes individuals who understand project management, but with focused attention to key differences in managing outsourced/offshore projects. The COOPM™ is award to applicants who,
- Attend a certified outsourse/offshore project management class conducted by a certified instructor,
- Pass a written examination (regionally applicable), and
- Meet minimum project management experience requirements.
The COOPM™ certification is designed to promote and build a base of known subject matter experts in this highly specialized discipline. COOPM™ qualified project managers provide value to outsourced projects, whether employed by the service provider or the client.
Education/Training
The International Institute for Outsource Management provides an array of educational offering to support the needs of member companies and regional IIOM offices.
Additional training offerings are offered through Supporting Partners of the International Institute for Outsource Management. Special Regional training and conference sessions may be conducted. Refer to the IIOM Education Campus framework.
