Global Star Certified Companies  The concept of viability certification started in 1985 when buyers of outsourcing services sought a way to  qualify service providers. Since that time, over 200 companies have been examined and a report on status  being rendered for the joint benefit of buyer and supplier.  In 2006 Certellus Corporation (www.Certellus.net) offered exclusive licensing to the International Institute  for Outsource Management. GSC examinations are carried out under the supervision of the Board of  Governors and adhering to strict independence standards. Outsourcing companies, who directly engage  assessments are rendered a qualification level (five levels; two foundation (F&F1), two stability (S&S1)  and optimized).
